Some days the urge is there; other days i can't seem to grasp my mind around one single story. i have four binders of adventures waiting for me. i guess b/c of a wedding and a new house and adjustment i'm having a hard time. for the past three weeks, it's been great. but as i sit here ready to delve in, i can't seem to wrap myself with a single character, setting, or plot. maybe i just need to walk away from the desk, paint some rooms, and sit back down. maybe then, i'll be welcomed back in by my other worlds. perhaps the inspiration will come as i focus on tasks i must do.
So here's to be productive around the muse! maybe i'll surprise myself!

BD:AN is back in action!
That’s right! The juices are flowing once again for Beautiful Disaster: A Novel! What gave it the boost? Could be “The Damascus Way” on the bookshelf; maybe the walk through BAM; perhaps the influence of Mrs. Francine Rivers; whatever it is, I’m grateful for the muse. Pen to paper, fingers to keys; the chapters are being written in hopes of finishing it this time around. But, I must give all credit and glory to my Abba Father. It is only by Your grace and the voice of the Spirit that gives me the words to record. Thank you!

I have not given up… just taking a break. NaNoWriMo definitely helped in my progress, but other things have taken precedence over BD:AN. I have a good chunk printed out and passed around for others to read. We shall see their reactions and continue from there. Thanks for your patience.

Can't Find the Words...
so maybe this mood i'm in will help to develop some more characters within BD:AN. i could relate to kennedy, ellie, charlie ray, and johnny. we have trials and temptations to make us who we need to be. it's what you do with them that makes the lasting impression. i just want to find what i've been needing...

Better than Expected
Beautiful Disaster as a novel was a swell idea!! Absolutely suprised at how quick, deep, and detailed it is all coming together. Makes me feel good to be back at it once more. Have been getting great feedback from family and friends who are graciously taking the time to read and critique. Thanks, buddy, for being my ghost writer! It will definately pay off in the end. Here's to the next 10 pages!

It has Started!
today i began on the new route of Beautiful Disaster.
it is going much quicker and easier than i thought it would. it is actually refreshing to be working on BD once more. for some reason i just feel deeply connected to each character in this story. i haven't attempted writing a novel before. it is actually relaxing. i've been able to escape once more as i did before while working on the screenplay. i'm excited that i'm able to develop the characters, the background, and the story much deeper than i was with the screenplay. we'll see how things turn up.

A Different Route...
So with the help from my ghost, I've decided to try something different with BEAUTIFUL DISASTER...
I guess you could call it a change of venue, the same goal, just a new way of getting to it
We'll see if this will make things flow a little bit smoother and help to come to an ending much faster
